AMA Pro Vance and Hines XR1200 team wforacingonline.com to compete in 90th running of Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Race to the Clouds
Milwaukee, Wi. (December 12, 2011) – AMA Pro Vance and Hines XR1200 team wforacingonline.com is pleased to announce their entry for the 90th running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb has been accepted and approved by the PPIHC Competition Committee. The team is now invited to compete at the historic racing event (second oldest only to the Indianapolis 500) over the 4th of July weekend. Team Principal and former Battle of the Twins National Champion Wes Orloff will be riding the XR1200 normally fielded by Shawn Higbee in the AMA Pro Racing Vance and Hines XR1200 Series. Milwaukee, Wi - The motorcycle racing community is excited with the news that there will be 2 AMA Pro Vance and Hines XR1200 races at the Red Bull Indianapolis Moto GP event on August 27th and 28th. As a current front running participant in the AMA Pro Racing Vance and Hines XR1200 series wforacingonline.com intends to participate in this event with AMA pro rider Shawn Higbee at the controls. Team Principal Wes Orloff: ‘We are extremely excited about the opportunity to race in front of a world audience at the Red Bull Indianapolis GP. As this was a late addition to the AMA Pro Vance and Hines XR1200 series schedule, we had not budgeted for the event, but we have had some great sponsors and grass roots support step up to help out. We are lucky enough to be teaming with Indianapolis Southside Harley-Davidson, a 4 generation family owned dealership’. The dealership was started in 1947 in Indianapolis by H-D factory engineer George Schulteti, a fact not lost on Orloff, himself an engineer for Harley-Davidson. ‘It is great to be working with the family owned dealership with such a long history with the Harley-Davidson brand. I feel a personal connection and think our partnership is a great fit. It is very cool to be able to represent Indianapolis Southside H-D at the Red Bull Indy GP’.
Individual enthusiast sponsorship for the team came from a surprising source: A Buell owners internet forum. Orloff: ‘A big thanks goes out to the enthusiasts at Badweatherbikers.com who have helped our cause. Their support has been fantastic. Obviously Shawn has a lot of Buell fans out there that want to see him do well. They have helped out previously on Buell Daytona 200 efforts and the Roadracing World Action Fund, so its great to be able to represent these enthusiasts with a history of supporting racing.’
Higbee’s comments: I am excited to be racing the Indianapolis Southside Harley-Davidson XR1200 at the Red Bull Indianapolis GP. I think the racing will be close and it will be awesome to be in that pack of Harley’s running down the front stretch for the first time.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - The motorcycle racing community is excited with the news that there will be 2 AMA Pro XR1200 races at the Red Bull Indianapolis Moto GP event on August 27th and 28th. As a current front running participant in the AMA Pro Racing Vance and Hines XR1200 series, our team, wforacingonline.com, intends to participate in this event with AMA pro rider Shawn Higbee at the controls. As this was a late addition to the XR1200 series schedule, the team hasn't budgeted for the event. We are working hard to prepare and secure funding for the Red Bull Indy GP event. Racing, Racing, & More in June

Every weekend in June was a race weekend for WFO RacingOnline.com. Drag Race demos, AMA ProRacing Team at the AMA ProRacing event at Road America with a spectacular showing with Shawn Higbee and friends, and then onto two more AHRMA weekends at Road America and Grattan Raceway in Behling, MI. We took some of July to recover, and then started the madness again with a rally to try to support the V&H XR1200 AMA ProRacing series at the MotoGP in Indy this August. This will be some write up of the craziness this summer that Wes will owe us in his race reports, but we’ll keep blogging to try to keep up with all madness of trying to hold our full time day job, raise two toddlers, and support our grass roots racing team.
